  • What one thing would you take to a desert island?

My family to help pass the time. I can't sit still for very long...

  • Is there a story behind your connection with euro-star?

The partnership started shortly before the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004. Since then I connect euro-star very positively with my successes and the quality of the products that make them possible. I've also realised that I have always relied on euro-star products. Most of the equestrian sportswear in my childhood came from euro-star.

  • If you could swap your life with that of a celebrity, who would it be?

I would never want to swap with a celebrity. I'm sure all the fuss would be very exhausting. I would prefer to stay me.

  • Is there a horse belonging to one of your competitors that would like to ride?

That's not something I've thought about. But I like challenges. At the Horse Rotation Derby in Munich I had some very valuable and entertaining experiences ;-)

  • What would you have become if you hadn't become professional rider?

I consider horse riding to be my favourite hobby. I work at an engineering company and I love the variety between work and living and training with the horses.

  • I have a weakness for...

    Austrian pastries and much more...

  • Is there something you've always wanted to do?

City sightseeing trips... Unfortunately I don't have the time for that.

  • What's your idea of a perfect Sunday?

A cosy and ample breakfast with my family, spending time with my horses and nice weather...

  • What was the last CD you bought?

None, I am a total iTunes addict.

  • Why did you choose dressage as your discipline?

You could say I inherited it from my parents. My mum was European Champion in 1979 and Olympic Champion in 1980 in dressage. My father was her trainer already then and both hold the title of "Reitmeister". Today I still benefit 100% from my parents' support and training and I am glad to be able to rely on such good mentors! After some visits to the show jumping courses in my childhood I finally chose Dressage and I am still fascinated by the feeling of being one with your horse, even in the most difficult tasks.

  • Which euro-star breeches would you recommend to our clients?

I love the Hunter breeches. This product is a classic, timeless perennial, always surprising me with new colours and combinations.

  • Is there something about you that hardly anyone knows?

I'm not going to give that away so quickly – find out yourself!
